Our test procedure
This is how we test at GlobalMotoParts
Our goal is to provide you with high-quality used motorcycle spare parts. Every part that is offered for sale undergoes a rigorous and multi-stage inspection, cleaning, and categorization process. Here, we would like to give you a detailed insight into our approach:
1. Inspection
- Visual Inspection: Each part is initially checked for obvious damages or signs of wear. Parts that do not meet our quality standards are immediately sorted out.
- Functionality Test: Depending on the specific spare part, we conduct a series of functionality tests to ensure that it operates perfectly. For instance, brake discs are checked for thickness and performance, while electronic components are tested for their technical functionality, as far as possible.
2. Cleaning
- Removal of Dirt and Deposits: Each spare part is meticulously cleaned from dirt, oil, or other residues.
- Deep Cleaning: If necessary, the parts are soaked in special solutions or cleaned with ultrasound to remove even stubborn dirt and ensure they look as good as new.
- Drying and Protection: After cleaning, all parts are thoroughly dried and treated with appropriate agents to protect them from corrosion or other environmental influences.
3. Categorization & Photography
- Model and Year Specification: Each spare part is categorized according to its specific manufacturer, model, motorcycle type, year of production, and displacement, ensuring that the spare part fits your motorcycle precisely.
- Condition Assessment: To ensure transparency, we evaluate the visual and technical condition of each spare part ("Very good," "Good," "Poor," etc.) and provide corresponding photos. This way, you know exactly what you're purchasing and can make an informed decision based on solid information.
- Real Photos of Each Spare Part: We photograph each spare part exactly as it is. The photos do not depict sample images but show precisely the spare part you are purchasing.
